Fitment

Installation

1. Disconnect battery
2. Remove factory airbag
3. Plug resistor into airbag connector
4. Secure and tuck wiring safely behind steering wheel
5. Reconnect battery

Troubleshooting

In rare cases, the airbag light may persist:

• Ensure connector is fully seated
• Disconnect battery for 10 minutes and reconnect
• Drive the vehicle to allow ECU relearn (~50 miles)
• Use an SRS-capable scan tool to clear stored codes if needed

Some vehicles may retain a hardcoded SRS fault from prior events, which will require proper diagnostic clearing.
