Meet Dan | Owner & Founder of TheSubiePlug

Hey, I'm Dan, the guy behind TheSubiePlug!

My love for Subarus goes back well before TheSubiePlug was ever a thought. Over the years, I've been heavily involved in the automotive community, from building a supercharged BRZ that was featured on Gears and Gasoline to attending shows like Tuner Evolution, Slammedenuff, Import Expo, and countless other events. What started as a passion for building and modifying my own cars eventually turned into something much bigger.

As someone who's spent countless hours building, breaking, and rebuilding Subarus, I've always appreciated the little details that make a car stand out. That passion is what led me to start TheSubiePlug, a small business based out of our home in Columbia, South Carolina, specializing in custom OEM Subaru emblems, automotive accessories, and unique parts for fellow enthusiasts.

What started as a side project has grown into a business serving Subaru owners across the United States and around the world. From custom OEM emblems and gauge faces to unique automotive accessories and hard-to-find parts, everything we offer is driven by a passion for the Subaru community. Whether it's something we create in-house or a product we've carefully sourced, our goal is simple: offer quality parts, attention to detail, and products we'd be proud to put on our own cars.

Outside of the business, my wife Lauren and I have our hands full with four dogs (three Chihuahuas and a Dachshund) and a shared obsession with Subarus. We're a two-STI household, both driving 2016 WRX STIs. Lauren has a limited-edition Series.HyperBlue STI (@mudkip_sti), while mine (@multiplayerdan) is a 600+ horsepower street monster that's been through more builds than I'd probably like to admit.

When I'm not working on orders, you'll probably find me wrenching on one of our cars, creating automotive content, attending a car show, spending time with the dogs, or finding the next thing I absolutely don't need to buy for my STI.

I still work a full-time job alongside running TheSubiePlug, so this business is truly a labor of love. Every order, recommendation, and bit of support helps turn something I genuinely enjoy into something I get to share with the Subaru community.

At the end of the day, I'm just a car guy building cool stuff for other car people.
