This Airbag Emulator Harness Kit provides a simple, plug-and-play solution when installing aftermarket seats. Utilizing genuine OEM-style connectors, each harness integrates seamlessly with the factory wiring without cutting, splicing, or permanent modification.
This kit helps maintain proper system feedback when factory seats are removed, preventing the common airbag warning light that can appear after installing racing or aftermarket seating. Ideal for track-focused builds and off-road vehicles where factory seat airbags are no longer present.
Each set includes two harnesses to support both driver and passenger seat installations.

Troubleshooting
In rare cases, installing these may not disable the airbag light. This can be caused for a few reasons:
Improper Connection
Hardcoded SRS Fault to ECU - due to crash event data or other event
The simplest troubleshooting is to simply unplug the connector and plug it back in. Additionally, you can try unplugging the battery, waiting about 10 minutes, and plugging it back in. Driving the vehicle for some time to let the computer relearn (~50 miles) and see if it goes away. If it does not, you should use a scan tool that can read the SRS system and clear any codes (or visit your local dealer to do so). This will resolve 99% of issues.
For 08-14, you will still require your delphi passenger occupancy sensor & bladder mat (image)
For 2015-2021, you will require the denso occupancy module & thesubieplug occupancy sensor mat toggle switch, which you can get here.
For Honda, it is necessary to move your passenger weight sensor from your factory seat rails over.

Did not work as advertised, followed directions to the T and passenger airbag light still comes on. Oh well, I tried 🤷🏻

Installed the PnP airbag emulator from SubiePlug after putting aftermarket seats in my STI and it worked exactly as advertised. Plugged it in and the airbag light went away immediately—no resistors, no cutting wires, no messing with the harness. The OEM-style connectors make it a clean install and it literally takes a couple minutes. If you’re doing a seat swap and want a proper plug-and-play solution instead of trying to rig something together, this is the way to go. Very happy with it.

Worked great on my 2019 STI, it is very nice to have a plugiin solution versus using an ohm resistor and electrical tape.
